The Genesis
• Started as Brhamins coffee bar
– Founded in 1924; Started as a family restaurant which
grew to become a tourist attraction in Bangalore
• Mavalli Tiffin Room –MTR
– Quality then meant
• Hygiene:- Sterilized silver crockery & cutlery, exit
thro kitchen “see to believe” concept
