Don’t Let your eyes deceive you

People aren’t always how they seem,

Usually all smiley and leen.
Don’t believe what they tell you,
What they say is different to what they do.

When they’re out in public they’re brighter

than the sky,
But at home all the problems force them to
cry.
Their parents always fight and yell,
Inside it feels like they’re stuck in hell.

All the problems never stop,

And they always end up calling the cops.
Every night they only cry,
Just waiting for the day that they’ll die.
Love is the best thing that will happen to you,
You feel on top when you hear her say “I love u
too”.
She wins you over and steals your heart,
Telling you that you’ll never be torn apart.

She’s your soul mate the one you love,

Always giving you more than enough.
Then the love just suddenly stops,
You’re heart pounds and you’re stomach drops.

The thought never leaves your head,

Remembering the night you spent in bed.
You will always remember her name,
But you just hope she feels the same.
