7” Pocket Pieces:
1. Tape attached template pages

2. Cut 4 pocket pieces from strong, thick


cardboard (preferably with no folds or
8” creases)
3. Score and fold pockets along template
lines

Covering project with fabric:

1. Base: 20” x 60” piece of fabric
2. Pockets: 4 - 24” x 24” pieces
3. There is no “right” way to cover the
pocket pieces. I just made sure all raw
edges were tucked under and hot
glued in place on the inside of each
pocket.

3” Tips for cutting the slots for tabs:


1. Mark the position of each pocket on
the base using the dimensions at left.
2. Use the actual pocket pieces as guides
to mark the position of each tab that
needs to be cut.
3. Tab slits should be 1/8” wide and 2”
long.
4. Measure and mark the tab slits from
2” the outside edge of each pocket.
