IMPORTANCE OF QUESTIONING SKILLS
 Questioning is an extremely important selling
tool.
 Good questioning skills helps you achieve the
desired result.
 Effective questioning consititutes more than
half of the sales process.
ADVANTAGES
 Involves the customer in the process.
 Helps find the customer’s requirements,
problems and challenges.
 Reduces the mistakes.
 Raising awareness and challenges.
 Aids in providing the right solution.
 Helps clinch the deal finally.
TYPES OF QUESTIONS

 There are Three types of questions.


These are

1. Effective questions
2. Powerful questions
3. Closed questions
EFFECTIVE QUESTIONS

Some of the characteristics are


 Open-ended questions.
 Questions beginning with “how” or “What”
 Help understand what the person is actually
saying.
POWERFUL QUESTIONS
 Identifying the issue
ex: what is your feeling?
 Further information
ex: what else?
 Taking action
ex: what are your upcoming plans?
CLOSED QUESTIONS
Uses:
o Getting very specific answers from the
customer
o Getting a commitment about the sale.
