Re: Clearing the record
Hi Wayne,
‘Thanks for your clarification,
‘You were on the earlier boards prior to being appointed to the inaugural board of Twepi. | contacted Bob
Bailey and Rick Masse and we unanimously agree that we had no idea of this information prior to your
initial appointment, | also checked with the other people you mentioned in our phone call and they too had
no knowledge of the trial and outcome. Subsequent fo your appointments | was made aware of the fact.
that you had authored a book. At no time was | ever aware of the gravity of the situation, outcome of the
trial and judges comments regarding these events. If | had been aware of this at that time I can tell you |
would have opted to protect the image of Twepi so as not to end up in the situation we now find ourselves
in.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, please let me say that | think you made a valuable contribution to Twepi in
your capacity as a board member and chair of the HR committee. Many positive things were
‘accomplished in the development of our organization because of your efforts. | articulated this to Anne
Jarvis on two occasions prior to the story being published today. Unfortunately | don't control what gets
printed. If | did, today's article would never have been published
| think you made a good decision in the circumstances and | truly wish you well
Sincerely,
Drew
