This is a 5 part narrative structure diagram for my whole film.

I used Mckee’s ‘classic

Narrative Structure’ to make my work clear.

Exposition/ Agent of Change:

protagonists:
The government is the
Aaron, a 16 year old boy, is antagonist in the film, as
the main character of the the main character is trying
film. He may be seen as to stop what it is are doing,
heroic, as he is standing up (Raising university fees).
for what he believes in.

Conflict/Complication:
The overall conflict in the film is
between the government and its
people – mostly, it’s young people.
As Aaron is the main character, the
conflict is shown through him and
he gets arrested.

Elaboration:
The main part of the story is about Aaron being at a student protest in London and taking the law into his own
hands, to make a clear statement to the government that they, (the protesters), are not going to back down.
Aaron is then arrested and we watch as he waits to be released.

Climax & Resolution

Aaron’s problems are not resolved
at the end of the film, because the
government still raises university
fees and the audience does not
find out whether the police let him
off or charge him for the crime he
has committed.

Coda:
The film is open ended.
