Potential Fonts:

Using www.dafont.com I have tried out different fonts to

write the magazine's name "CME" in.

Bleeding Cowboy: Rio Grande: Carnevalee

Freakshow:

Nashville: King: Saddlebag:

I polled my target audience on which colour they think would look the
best. Advertising the poll to my target audience again through sites
such as Facebook and Twitter, people responded to my advertisement
and then I replied and asked them individually, the results were as
follows:

Total answers: 28
Bleeding Cowboy: 6
Rio Grande: 4
Carnevalee Freakshow: 3
Nashville: 2
King Font: 10
Saddlebag: 3

I have decided that I shall use the 'King'. I agree with the poll results
and think it has the best look for my magazine, as it is clearly a
Western theme and it will work well. I have tested it in different
colours and styles below.
I polled my target
audience on which
colour they think would
look the best.
Advertising the poll to
my target audience
again through sites
such as Facebook and
Twitter - I asked the
same people to do this
poll as the above poll
regarding fonts, people
responded to my
advertisement and
then I replied and
asked them
individually, the results
were as follows:
Total answers: 28
Grey: 1 This is the Red version of my CME title:
Black: 5
Dark Blue: 2
Orange: 0
Red: 15
Purple: 0
Green: 3
Light Blue: 2

I have decided that the red version of the CME title is the one I shall
use. I chose this because I agree with the poll results, it will work best
with my natural (dark green/grey colours) that will be on the
background of the front cover. Red will stand out the best of these
colours on that background. Also Country Weekly magazine, the
magazine that I have consulted when making big design decisions such
as this, use red writing for their magazine and it looks great.
