Brief

A2LP stands for “Ann Arbor Language Partnership”, it

offers an opportunity to University of Michigan students
and Ann Arbor community members to teach Spanish to 3rd
and 4th graders in Ann Arbor Public Schools. Their current
logo is as shown on the right. The client likes the color of the
logo as well as the head silhouette. They prefer simply lines
and shapes and ask for no gradients or screens. ”

Concept 1 Typeface: Kaggish Bold

As the logo being quite abstract, I think a bold sans
serif font will make the text looks more “bulky” and
more compatible with the shapes. Kaggish bold seems
A2LP to be a good choice, especially its pointing ascenders
and descenders are elements that appear dynamic.
