Voltage Variation: ±10%


Frequency Variation: ±5%

Zone A: The motor must be able to operate


continuously, but can present some
variation (increase of the temperature
related to nominal frequency and voltage
conditions).
However, motor is designed to take
variation occurred in Zone A.

Zone B: The motor can operate in this zone


momentary only. Continuous operation of
motor in this zone lead to many problems.

It is not recommended for motor to operate


in this zone, as it can result in overheating
of motor.
