Reply to VRDE fax.

1. QAP for project is approved and inspection carried out accordingly, till date. For smooth
execution of project, it is recommended that scope of inspection be same as per QAP and only
inspection agency be changed from VRDE to SSQAG (as it is QAP might have provision for
customer nominated 3rd party. Need to check)
2. Design, drawing approval and material procurement for 100% components completed.
Fabrication of major structures complete. Documentation for these completed. Changing format
for documents would lead to extensive rework. L&T will submit documents for SSQAG review.
Implication of re-work and re-approvals on time-line of project would be high.

You are requested to keep ready  following :-

(i) Drawings  approved by VRDE
(ii) A copy of QAP Approved
(iii) All material test reports
(iv) Format sheet for inspection dosier
(v) Relevant IS standards
(vi) Drawing of testing schemes
(vii) Internal inprocess Inspection record
