The Manzanita Community Walks For Children event will take place on March 16th from 4-7 pm at Manzanita Schools in Oakland. The event will include a block party from 4-5 pm with food, followed by a community walk with elected officials and law enforcement from 5-6:15 pm. The evening will conclude from 6:15-7 pm with a celebration. The goal of the event is to nourish the community's roots, cultivate youth talents, and strengthen partnerships to create a healthy and safe neighborhood.
