The solution is to add two jumpers on the UY board by connecting the anode of D238 to the ground side of R1215 and the anode of D201 to the ground side of C1205.     Subject: Transparent Bar In Picture Date: September 17, 2001

    Symptom:
    (1343) With a signal applied to the “S” Input of Video 1, while viewing a component signal
    connected to the Video 4 input. A transparent bar that travels across the screen can
    be seen.

    Solution: If the customer should complain of the symptom above please implement the
    following circuit change, on the UY Board.

    Add two jumpers to the UY board. Use 24AWG insulated wires as follows:

    1. D238 Anode to R1215 ground side.

    2. D201 Anode to C1205 ground side.

    Add jumper between R1215 & Anode of D238

    Board location: Component side
