CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
Directing the President, pursuant to section 5(c) of the War
Powers Resolution, to remove the United States Armed
Forces from Afghanistan.

3 SECTION 1. REMOVAL OF UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES

4 FROM AFGHANISTAN.

5 Pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolu-

6 tion (50 U.S.C. 1544(c)), Congress directs the President

1 (1) by no later than the end of the period of 30
2 days beginning on the day on which this concurrent
3 resolution is adopted; or
4 (2) if the President determines that it is not
5 safe to remove the United States Armed Forces be-
6 fore the end of that period, by no later than Decem-
7 ber 31, 2011, or such earlier date as the President
8 determines that the Armed Forces can safely be re-
9 moved.
