    LANGUAGE ACQUSITION WEEK 2

    What I learnt was schools of thought in SLA. I learnt structuralism and


    behaviorism, we learnt them together, but they are not the same, behaviorism is based
    on reality and it is descriptive. In addition to that I learnt Rationalism and cognitive
    pyschology, cognitive these is what is inside the mind. Beside I learnt the importance
    of constructivism, it bases on social interactivism. Moreover, I learnt the impact of
    pyschology on language teaching and the importance of group work.

    What I had difficulty in was learning the differences between langue and
    parole.
    I believe that I will use schools of thought in my teaching appropriately.
    Firstly I should get to know my students. After that I will use different approaches
    according to my students needs. People need to learn and socialize. I have to let my
    students find their ways. Moreover, each student needs respect and I will not minimize
    them. I learnt the importance of group work and I will use it. In addition, of course I
    will use individual strategies. I think that the information I got in this lesson will help
    me to be an effective teacher.
