MYP Personal Project

The MYP Personal Project is a long-term, independent project that is completed in the final year of the
MYP (Year 11). Students choose a topic or issue that interests them and design a goal for their project.
They undertake further research and investigation into their topic and then create a product or outcome
that achieves their goal. Finally, students write a formal report that reflects on their learning throughout
the project. In March the students present their projects to the wider community at the annual Personal
Project Fair.

This year, 90 students completed a Personal Project. Parents, teachers and students enjoyed visiting the
Personal Project Fair on March 7th to talk to the Year 11s about their work and to see for themselves the
range of topics that were investigated.
