• Plot involves a crime
• Protagonist is always good looking with a mysterious and scary looking
antagonist.

Differences
• Some are fiction and involve sci-fi, others are
reality crime scene and mystery.
• Most protagonists are men however women as
protagonist are also used in “Psycho” and “The
Silence of the Lambs” therefore there is no real
trend.
• Music is the same in tempo however different
in genre in the film “Goodfellas” possibly due to
its setting.
