From WEST BANK

The "Parking Lot" School

For lack of space, Al Tasamoh Elementary School was forced to convert an underground
parking lot into classrooms. No light, no fresh air, no playground. That all changed, thanks
to ANERA, with USAID funding. Read more

Women Helping Women

In Qabalan, the women's cooperative does more than just produce citrus juice, embroidery
and soap. It has its own grocery shop and kitchen where healthy pastries and sandwiches are
prepared daily and sold to village residents and school children at two of the
cooperative-owned cafeterias. And, it helps women earn enough to provide for their families.

Supporting Palestinian Youth Through Scholarships

Vocational training programs like Al-Kafaat University's courses are not usually accessible
to Palestinian youth, who struggle with finances because their status as refugees limits their
job opportunities. Thanks to a scholarship program initiated by ANERA, in partnership
with the National Institute of Social Care and Vocational Training (NISCVT), the selected
students could pursue marketable skills. Read more
