Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram - the embodiment of truth, goodness and beauty, that is Lord
Shiva. Shiva is one of the trinity gods, the other two are lords Vishnu and Brahma. More

Translation: Oh thy divine couple Shiva and Parvati ! Oh, thee, the protectors of the
universe! Along with Lords Brahma and Vishnu, ee pray to You for our well-being,
prosperity and the enlightenment of our souls.
Translation: Lord Shiva is seated on Mount Kailash, his forehead is decked with the
moon and the king of serpents - these are his crown. The lord is full of compassion
and the remover of illusion. Shiva is the only protector, I surrender myself to such a
great lord, Shiva.
Translation: I bow down to the Lord of Parvathi, the divine guru, the cause of the
universe. I salute to the Lord who is adorned with snake and wears the tiger skin, the
Lord of all the creatures. I bow down to the Lord whose three eyes are the sun, the
moon and the fire and whom Lord Vishu is very close. I salute to the Lord who is the
refuge of all the devotees and the giver of boons.

Translation: What can mere death do to me, when I salute to Lord Shiva, who throat is
blue, three-eyed and who is pure and grants me stability.
Translation: What can mere death do to me, when I bow down to Lord Shiva, the
three-eyed one and the preceptor and lord of the universe.
Translation: I salute to thee, Lord Shiva, the remover of sorrow and poverty, who is
the consort of goddess Gowri, who has five faces, who protects his devotees, and who
is the Lord of the universe.
Translation: Salutations to Sri Vaidyanatha, who holds the flowing waters of the river
Ganga and the crescent moon in the locks of his hair. Salutations to thee, Lord Shiva,
the three-eyed one and one that is worshipped by all the Devas and one that subdued
Yama and Cupid.
Translation: Please save me, oh Lord Shiva, . You are mother Parvati's consort, you
are the one that drank the poison from the ocean (kaala koota), you are the destroyer
of the three cities. Oh Lord, I have taken refuge at your feet.

Lord Krishna is one of the most popular Hindu deities and worshipped in different ways.
While many Vaishnava groups recognize him as an avatar of Vishnu, other traditions
consider him as Swayam Bhagawan, or the Supreme being. Krishna's story is depicted in
many scriptures like the Mahabharatha, Harivamsha, Bhagavatha Purana and the Vishnu

1.c Vasudeva Sutam Devam, Kansa Chaanuuramardanam
Devakii Paramaanandam Krishhnam Vande Jagad Gurum
Translation: Krishna is the son of Vasudeva, the delight of Devaki, the slayer of
Kansa and Chanura, I bow to thee always, Lord Krishna, the chief of this world.
Translation: Just like every rain drop that falls from the sky flows into the ocean,
similarly, every prayer offered to any deity flows to Lord Krishna. I bow to thee, Lord
Krishna.
Translation: Oh! Imperishable Lord, let me constantly recite your holy names such as
Keshava, Rama, Damodara, Narayana, Sridhara, Madhava, Krishna, Rama Chandra,
Janaki's hero.
Translation: Your lips are sweet, your face is sweet, your eyes are sweet, your smile is
sweet, your heart is sweet, your gait is sweet, O Lord of Mathura, everything about is
delectable.
Translation: I salute to thee, Lord Krishna, the universal preceptor, who has a broad
chest with a srivatsa mark, the one who wears the Vanamala garland and one who
holds a conch and a discus.
The elephant-headed god Ganesha, the son of Shiva and Parvathi, is also called as Vinayaka,
Ekadanta, Gajanana, Lambodara, Vignaraja and Vakratunda. As the god of good luck, people
pray to him to remove any obstacles they might face, especially before new undertakings

1.c Shuklaambara Dharam Vishnum, Shashi Varnam Chatur Bhujam
Prasanna Vadanam Dhyaayet, Sarva Vighna Upashaanthaye
Translation: I meditate on the Lord that is clad in white (representing purity), who is
omnipresent, whose complexion is gray like that of ash (glowing in spiritual
splendor), who has four arms, who has a bright contenance (showing inner calm and
radiance) and who can destroy all obstacles (in our spiritual and materialistic lives)
Translation: The Lord, you with the curved trunk and a strong body, with the radiance
of a million suns, I pray to thee, Oh Lord, to remove the obstacles from all the actions
I intend to perform.
Translation: I worship all day on that elephant faced Lord Ganesha, who is like sun to
the lotus faced Mother Parvathi. Giver of many boons, the single tusked Ganesha, I
salute thee to give me a boon.
Translation: The lord of spiritual faith, son of Lord Shiva, is the wisest among the
wise. Ganesha has no comparison. He is the senior lord of the Vedic mantras, who
listens to the devotees' prayers. I invite lord Ganesha to visit my home with
prosperous things and be seated here.
Translation: Obeisance to Lord Ganesha, the one tusked, huge bodied, big bellied, and
large eyed god, whose complexion is like that of molten gold, I surrender myself to
such a great lord.
Translation: The lord, for whom Lord Vishnu is the uncle, whose mother is the divine
auspicious one, Parvati, and whose father is Lord Shiva, I offer salutations to you,
Lord Ganesha.
Translation: I bow down to lord Ganesha, who has an elephant's head, who is attended
to by his followers, who eats his favorite wood-apple and rose-apple fruits, who is the
son of goddess Parvati, who is the cause of destruction of all sorrows, I salute to his
lotus like feet.

Durga, a figure of violence, she protects the good and destroys evil. Durga was born of the
angry flames that emanated from the mouths of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and the other gods.

Translation: Daughter of the mountain, you delight the earth, you make the whole
universe revel, you are praised by Nandikesvara, you dwell on the summit of the king
of mountains, the Vindhyas, you took the form of the consort of Vishnu, you are
praised by Indra, you are the consort of Shiva, who has innumerable families, is the
creator of the universe, slew the demon Mahisha, has charming locks of hair, O
daughter of the mountain, hail unto you.
Translation: Oh goddess Annapurni! you are always a wholesome entity; you are the
most intimate consort of the lord of good deeds(Shiva). I seek your grace to attain
wisdom and determination to voluntarily abstain from satiating wordly desires.
Translation: Let Kalika who is ever pleasing protect us. Let the mother of the universe
reside in this shrine and bless us as mother Mathangi.
Translation: Let my mind contemplate on Sri Kamakshi Devi who resides in the city
of Kanchi, who is the object of Lord Shiva's lovem who is seated on a lotus, who
wears a golden bangle, who fulfils all desires and who glitters like gold .

Goddess Lakshmi, in her many different manifestations, is the embodiment of wealth,
prosperity, light, wisdom, fortune, fertility, generosity and courage. In two of her four arms,
she carries the lotus blossom, a symbol of the soul and a coin, a symbol of wealth. More

Translation: My salutations to you, great Lakshmi, you are all powerful, seated on
wealth, and worshipped by the devas, has a conch, mace and disc in your hands.
2.c Sarva Mangala Mangalye Shive Sarvaartha
Sadhikey Sharanye Trayambakey Gowri
Narayani Namostutey
Translation: I salute to thee, the three-eyed divine mother Narayani, who brings
auspiciousness and who fulfils all the desires of the devotee.
Translation: I bow to the auspicious Tulasi, who is dear to Lord Vishnu, who brings
good luck to the devotees, guides one to achieve salvation, showers all the wealth on
the devotees.
Translation: Oh Mother Earth, you wear the oceans, forests and mountains; wife of
Vishnu, I bow down to you. Please forgive me for placing my feet on you.

The Navagrahas are considered as earth's cosmic influencers and affect the nature and destiny
of the human beings. Hence they are personified as celestial beings and worshipped as
deities. Technically, the Sun and the Moon are not planets and Rahu and Ketu are lunar

2.c Japaa Kusumasankasham Kasyapeyam Maha Dhyuthim
Tamognam Sarvapaapghnam Pranatosmi Divakaram
Translation: My salutations to the Moon god, who is white like the curds and the
conch, born from the ocean of milk, adorned by a rabbit in him and is the ornament on
Shiva's head.
Translation: Salutations to the Mars, who is born to the earth, shines like lightning, an
young man and carries the shakthi.
Translation:My salutations to Mercury, who is black like the bud of millet, beauty has
no equal, gentle by nature and is very positive .
Translation: My salutations to Jupiter, who is the teacher of devas and sages, shines
like gold, whose soul os the intellect and who is the lord of the three worlds.
Translation: My salutations to Venus, who shines like the snow white jasmine, is the
great preceptor of the Asuras, an expert in all sciences and who is the son of sage
Brigu.
Translation:My salutations to the Saturn god, who is the colour of blue black, is the
son of Sun god, is the elder brother of Yama and who is the offspring of Sun god and
wife Chaya. .

Anjaneya, Vaayunandhan and Kesarinandha is an embodiment of utmost devotion, sacrifice,
