Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTSi

• Bajaj works in collaboration

with David Pieris Motor
Company Ltd.
• (DPMC) of Sri Lanka to sell
their bikes in the sub continent
country.
• DPMC is one of Sri Lanka’s
leading 2 wheeler providers
with a widespread countrywide
authorized dealership network
which is responsible for sales,
distribution, spares, marketing
and service to its products.
• A few days back Pulsar 220
DTSi was launched in the Sri
Lankan market.
• Bajaj already had eight models
currently in the market;
Platina 100, Platina 125,
CT100, Boxer BM 100,
Discover 100, Discover 135,
Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180
and Pulsar 220 forms the 9th
model in the lineup.
• Surprisingly, Bajaj doesn’t
have the pocket sized 4 valve
technical gem Pulsar 135LS in
Sri Lankan market yet.
• It makes a lot of sense to launch
this bike in a market like Sri
Lanka especially when the bike is
doing wonders in India and other
countries like Indonesia etc.
• In fact, looking at the current
success rate of the bike we guess
it would not take much time for
Bajaj to launch it in Sri Lanka.
• Pulsar 220 DTSi launched in Sri
Lanka is exactly the same model
which is sold in India.
• The bike produces 21.04PS of
maximum power and 19.12Nm of
peak torque from its 220cc 4
stroke, air cooled DTSi engine.
