Throughout the school year there are many incursions and excursions available to support and enrich the

education program we offer at school.

This year some of the activities the North Fremantle students have experienced are:

• Sculptures by the Sea • Animal Farmyard

• Cultural Infusion – Aboriginal for a Day • Kite Man
• In-term Swimming • Sport at neighbouring schools
• Art Blast • Tales of Times Past
• Kings Park Excursion • Worm Man
• Cricket Clinic • Inter-school Sport Carnivals

To refine our process for money collection, in consultation with the School Council, we have decided to
collect an up front activity charge from parents each semester rather than on each separate occasion.

As children participate in activities the cost will be deducted from your account. If your child does not
participate, you will not be charged.

If the full amount is not expended the balance will be rolled over into the next semester.

If you leave the school the balance will be refunded to you.

Activities attracting high cost (eg. Camps) will be negotiated separately to regular activity accounts.

As always we will endeavour to reduce cost by:

• applying for grants

• sourcing the best quotes for buses or using private transport.
• engaging only in activities linked to the educational programs we have in place; and
• working collaboratively with the P & C.

This new process will:

• reduce the time spent by teachers collecting money during class time
• reduce the administration required by office staff throughout the year; and
• reduce the flow of paperwork from school to home and back again.

If necessary, payment plans can be negotiated by contacting our Registrar Pauline on 9335 2743, by email or
at our office.

We look forward to your support in this matter. An account to cover semester 1, 2011 will be sent to you early
in term 1, 2011.
