Microsoft LoopBack Adaptor Setup Guide

1. Click Control Panel in the All Programs menu.

2. Double click "Add Hardware".

3. The Add Hardware Wizard brings up. Click "Next".

4. Select "Yes, I have already connected the hardware". Click "Next".

5. Scroll down the installed hardware list. Select "Add a new hardware device".
6. Select "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list". Click "Next".

7. Select "Network Adaptors". Click "Next".

8. Select "Microsoft" in the Manufacturer box. Select "Microsoft Loopback Adaptor" in
the Network Adaptor box. Click "Next".

9. Click "Next".
10. Click "Finish". The Adaptor is installed.

11. Still at the Control Panel. Double click "Network Connections".

12. Double click the connection with device name as Microsoft Loopback Adaptor.

13. Click "Properties" button.

14. Select "Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)". Click "Properties" button.

15. Select "Use the following IP adress". Fill the IP address as 10.10.10.1. Fill the Subnet
mask as 255.255.255.0. Click "OK".
16. Click "Close".

17. Click "Close".

18. The loopback adaptor is setup.
