Internship in Hepatitis with the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene

The hepatitis group at the New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene,
Bureau of Communicable Disease has an opening for a new intern. We work on several
projects related to hepatitis B and C, including routine surveillance, outbreak
investigations, outreach and education, and primary and secondary prevention projects.
The work includes case investigation, patient interviews, and data management and
analysis (using SAS and Access).For examples of the type of work we do, see

We are looking for a student intern, *ideally a first year MPH student* or similar, for 14
to 20 hours per week, starting soon and continuing through the summer, and possibly
beyond. The position pays $10 - $13 per hour, depending on your level of education.
