The Author is Neil Philip and the Title is called “ Mythology”. This book was published in 2005 and was
published in 375 Hudson Street , New York, NY 10014 by DK Publishing Inc. This book is Nonfiction
because it talks about information that is about mythical history that might of happened.
The theme is mystery ,odd , and very secrecy.The books background is just information that is known for to be
a myth and some of that is not a myth.Purpose :
The author’s purpose is to inform. It is intended for someone our age or older. If you are younger you may not
be able to comprehend it. Evaluation:
I believe this book is very interesting and very entertaining because it has facts that Ive never knew. I mostly
enjoyed reading about the goddesses because there was facts about love goddess, mother goddesses and
lightning goddesses ect.The was a few things in the book that just sounded odd and I didn't agree to it like
God sent down 70 angels to confuse peoples tongues and that's why we have different languages. There was
another piece of information that had said “Native Americans believe that this world was supported on a turtle’s
back.None (not applicable)
There were no arguments in the book. I have nothing to argue with.
The book didn't really affect me because some of this just doesn't make sense to me and I believe some of the
information that was put in this book. This book is some what useful because the information that is given you
can compare today's informationSummary:
It was a good book and it taught me about myths of the world and different aspects of myths.
