Teams of 2-4 members will compete in a brand wars competition organized into 4 pools of 5 teams each. The competition will involve a case study presentation with additional information provided on the day of the event, followed by a rapid fire quiz round to determine the overall winner. Teams will have 3 hours to analyze the case study and additional information, and present their analysis in a 20 minute presentation with 10 minutes of Q&A. A single team member will represent each team in the quiz round, answering 25 questions in 90 seconds, with potential tiebreaker rounds. Judges' decisions will be final.

1. A team must comprise of maximum 4 and minimum 2 members.
2. There will 4 pools with 5 teams, making a total of 20 teams. 3. The case studies will be accompanied by a strict set of rules along with guidelines, which will inform the teams of the deliverables and requirements from the presentations. 4. Primary and Secondary research is allowed for case analysis. (Hard or softcopy of the research should be submitted on the morning of the 26th February) 5. On the event day new information as a supplement to the case study shall be given for analysis. 6. 3 hours shall be allotted for final analysis inclusive of new information and presentation preparation. 7. Each team will have 20minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for the Q&A by the Judges. 8. There is a maximum of 20 slides and minimum of 5 slides that should be presented by the team. 9. Additional information shall be given on the event day and this information must be incorporated in the final presentation. However, this information has to be evaluated and presented in addition to the original analysis. 10. To evaluate this additional piece of information the team will have time from 10am to 2pm. 11. All team members must present. 12. Each pool shall be evaluated by 2 judges. 13. 4 teams shall emerge as winners on the decision of the judges from the first round of competition. 14. Decision of judges stands final and cannot be appealed. 15. Second round of the competition is a quiz competition on International Marketing and Branding. 16. The quiz competition is a rapid fire of 25 questions, each team shall have 90 seconds to answer the questions. 17. A single representative from each team shall participate in this round. 18. Team members cannot hint or prompt the representative team member (any such action can result in disqualification of the team) 19. In event of a tie amongst teams there will be a tie breaker round of 5 questions. 20. A panel of 3 judges shall be present for the competition. 21. Judges decision shall stand final. 22. The winner of round 2 shall emerge as the winner of the BW 2011.
