    The Aguilon Golf Members Club report summarizes changes being made to the course along with recent competition results. Bunkers on the 11th, 17th and 15th fairways are being removed or filled in, reducing the total number of bunkers to 99. Strong winds made conditions difficult in competitions on March 16th and 23rd. Chris Mardon and Chris Baker won the individual stablefords on those dates with scores of 34 and 36 points respectively. Guests are welcome to join competitions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

    AGUILON GOLF MEMBERS CLUB REPORT

    The course is a hive of activity with lots of work being carried


    out,they are removing the cross bunker on the 11th fairway (but we
    will still have the barranco to traverse) ,also the Gobi desert size
    bunker in front of the 17th is being filled in, another bunker down
    the left of 15th is also being taken out (this will only leave us with 99
    bunkers !!!) but we have to say the course is now looking good.
    RESULTS
    Wednesday 16th March-Individual Stableford
    A bright sunny day was made difficult if not impossible by a gale
    force levante wind sweeping down the fairways.
    1st Chris Mardon 34pts, 2nd Les Raufer 31pts on a card play off, 3rd
    David Street 31pts
    Twos: David Street 4th and Ian Jenner 8th
    Wednesday 23rd March-Individual Stableford
    We cannot seem to get rid of these strong winds on a dull overcast
    day which at least stayed dry and makes our winners score all the
    more commendable
    1st Chris Baker 36pts, 2nd Glyn Ombler 32pts, 3rd Bill Gibb 31pts on
    a card play off
    Twos: Louis Long 8th and Pierre Dominguez 10th
