Showing the effects
of smoking on the
lungs
AIM:
MATERIALS/APPARATUS:
PROCEDURE:
1) The apparatus was set up as shown in
figure 1.8
2) The vacuum pump was turned on and the
cigarette was lighted up.
3) The color of the cotton wool and the color
of litmus solution was recorded before
and after the activity.
4) The temperature of the u-tube was
recorded before and after the activity.

Conclusion
Smoking increase the temperature of
the lungs, blackens the lungs and
corrodes the lung as well.
