Halloween is celebrated on 31st October. 2.000 years ago Celts celebrated the Day
of the Dead on Halloween. To scare the bad spirits, the Celts wore
masks. These traditions then passed on to the United States.
Today children prepare a pumpkin called “Jack O-Lantern” and put
in the garden. They dress up costumes and visit their friends’
houses. At each house they say “Trick or Treat”.
