DSSSB had published the post of Fire Operator, (post code 03/09)
Delhi Fire Service vide Advertisement No. 01/2009. Out of the total
candidates, 3457 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted on the
basis of written examination, for appearing in the Physical Endurance
Test. In continuation and supersession of the above notification, the
Physical Endurance Test and Physical Standard Measurement for the post
of Fire Operator (post code 03/09) have been fixed w.e.f. 25th May,
2010 onwards at 25 Battalion, BSF. Chhawla Camp, Nazafgarh,
New Delhi- 110 071. The reporting time at chhawla Camp will be 8.00
a.m.
Late comers will not be allowed to take the test.
A} Physical Standards: The candidate will have to attain the minimum Physical
standards as prescribed below:-
Minimum Hight: 165 Cms (Relaxable of 5 Cms for hilly area people)
Mimimum Weight: 50 Kgs.
Chest (Normal): 81 Cms, Chest (expanded): 86.5 Cms.
B} Physical Endurance Test (PET): The PET would be of qualifying nature and
the candidate will have to attain the minimum qualifying standard, as given
below:

STANDARD
Admits cards will be issued to the short listed candidates only. Date and Time
of Physical Endurance Test will be given in the Admit Cards. The candidates, who do
not receive their Admit Card by 23.05.2010, may visit the office of the Board in
person at the above address on 24th May, 2010 between 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM
along with the proof of their identity and the proof of having applied for the said
post for obtaining duplicate Admit Card.
No candidate without valid Admit Card shall be allowed to enter the test
venue. Candidates are also directed to follow the detailed instructions enclosed with
their Admit Cards.
