What’s time now honey? I throw the question to confirm that what I know it’s true.
“10.45”, my wife replied. Eemm... Is it our phone line on well connected? Yup...but....why?
Asked my wife back to me. Eemm..Ooo..Nothing.. Just asking.. Then our conversations stop
at there.
Suddenly ...Kring..kring..kring...kring.. Like hurricane in the heavy rain I pick up the phone..
Hello... Assalamualaikum.. Like a brighter sunshine in the morning my heart feeling better..
My daughters’ on the line now. We keep in our conversation for a while to know her news.
I would like to share my first experience getting separate with my daughter. I have three
children, two kids and one girl. My eldest son Muhammad Syafiq, 16 years old in form 4.
Second, Khairun Nisa’, 13 years old in form 1 and my youngest kid, Muhammad Syahmi, 10
years old in year 4.
After finished the entire programme at the first week, she’s getting permission to overnight
at home for her weekend. She’s happy and shares with us her experience a week staying at
SMKAKL. She’s continues her routine at SMKAKL until 24th January 2011 before waiting on
7th February for a new registration at Maktab Rendah Sains MARA, Pengkalan Hulu, Perak.
She’s go a step far from us to catch her ambition. As a parent, I express thankful to Almighty
God for giving chance to my daughter study at one of the best boarding school in our
country. Even though I feel worry about the distance, that’s not the big problem to show off.
I must sacrifice and always think positive for my daughter bright future. Thousand miles
journey must begin from a first step. To my lovely daughter Khairun Nisa’, we always loves
you and hopes Allah bless you while she’s getting far from home.
