Design specifications:

The shielding room or cabinet will be designed to protect sensitive electronic

measuring equipment against the electromagnetic radiation produced by
current sources between 1kA and 5kA with frequency content between 300
kHz and 10 GHz.

The shielded efficiency in decibels of the shielded room was calculated from
the current magnitude, as follows:

Definitions:

Attenuation by absorption: is a direct function of the material. On metals; the

attenuation factor is calculated using following equation:

Skin effect or depth of penetration: is the reduction in amplitude is caused by

the energy dissipation on the material, is calculated using following equation :
