The letter welcomes future middle school students to the school and informs them of expectations. Students will be required to do homework and work independently. One class, Ms. Watts' Reading Technology & Literature class, has students work on computers for the full class period and may require working with partners. Students are advised to do their own work to avoid problems and pay close attention, as Ms. Watts only explains things once. Overall, the school expects students to work hard but respect their teachers, otherwise the teachers may become strict.

Students in middle school are required to do homework, work at home, and if they don͛t then it counts against them in their overall grade. One class that puts struggling students in order is Ms. Watts͛ Reading Technology & Literature class. Students may expect working for the whole class period on the computer which means you have to sit in a chair for 55 minutes. The future candidates of Reading Literature& Technology, Ms. Watts͛s class, will also be working with partners, and they may also expect you to do most of the work for them. Take this into consideration, ͞Do your work,͟ and you will not have any problems in school. What people don͛t understand is that Ms. Watts only explains things once, so learn how to listen carefully because you will fall behind. Overall, the students of Barber Middle school have a great time WORKING, but the work isn͛t that hard if you pay attention. Also give your teachers the respect they want and need otherwise they will go Hitler on you. The school can͛t wait for you to be in its halls.
