DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF ACCOMPANYING INSTRUCTORS

The following are the duties and responsibilities of the accompanying instructors while onboard the
vessel:

1. Insure that the students are properly supervised for their safety, security and conduct for the
duration of the shipboard training.

2. Insure that no student performs any act which will incriminate the name of their school and
Negros Navigation Co., Inc.

3. Insure that no student will violate house rules and regulations which could result in
accidents, panic or disorder among passengers or ship crew (please see training policies for
students).

4. Coordinate with the STO for the offshore liberty (IF ANY) and shall gather and remind
students of their proper conduct and the importance of assessing the place of liberty to
prevent any untoward incidents while on liberty.

5. Gather all students after the expiration of liberty to insure that all are accounted for.

6. Coordinate with the STO or proper authority in cases where students encounter situations
(e.g. problems or sickness) that warrant appropriate action.
