Retail Field Sales Professional- Key Accounts (Spanish Bilingual

Preferred)

We currently have a Field based role with the ideal location being in or near the Denver area. 
The Partnership Sales Leader leads market development and new strategic sales (independent
and small chain, retail store fronts) in an assigned territory.  The role is responsible for
professionally promoting all products to new and existing retail establishments with the goal of
achieving sales growth in their respective territories. The person would also develop and execute
sales plans, coordinate efforts with territory partners in a team environment, accurately complete
routine reports and be compliant with regulatory and company guidelines.   Specific
responsibilities are listed below:
 
SALES: 
 Generate leads and call on prospects to drive strategic new business signings. Sales
focus will be strategic with focus on competitive takeaways, as well as on small to
medium sized businesses, including; retailers, check casher, ethnic merchants and
financial institutions.
 Demonstrate thorough knowledge of products and services and competitor products
and services to further educate business owners and decision makers. 
 Participate in tradeshows and other industry meetings as required.
 Maintain up-to-date database to document sales call information, trends, future call
objectives, sampling data and overall sales performance.
 Utilize all available data and reporting to identify growth opportunities within sales
territory
 Plan and manage corridor and product strategies to drive volume growth in coordination
with marketing managers, corridor managers and product managers.

Skills and Experience Required:

Education: BA/BS degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience required.

 3-5+ years experience in a field sales role, selling and servicing retail customers (grocery,
convenience, pharmacy, check cashers) Demonstrated expertise in independently
planning, managing and executing sales strategies
 Proven negotiation and sales closing experience. Consultative selling/marketing expertise
and relationship management skills
 Talent in tailoring communications to the needs and perceptions of the customer. 
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as demonstrated presentation
abilities
 Ability to drive change. 
 Ability to work well independently in a team environment.  Ability to work with all
levels within the organization
 Strong PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office required.  Knowledge and
proficiency with Salesforce.com a plus.
 Bi-Lingual preferred.
 Overnight travel required up to 60%
