Re: Coordinator’s Responsibilities
___________________________________________________________________________

Effective immediately, before the game starts, all assigned game OICs are required to brief
the team coordinators, coaches, team captains and umpires to remind them about the rules
of the game and to play in the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play.

It is also the responsibility of the OIC to ensure that both team captains, coach’s and\or
coordinators sign the scoresheet after each game especially if one of the team lodges a
protest.

Can you also please remind your team players, their families and supporters that under our
FASA by-laws and constitution (and Western Australia’s Weapons Act 1999), it is an offence
to possess, carry or use prohibited or controlled weapon unless you have a lawful excuse.

Carrying a prohibited\controlled weapon for the purposes of self-defence is not a lawful

excuse. Please refer to our by-laws and constitution and the full of the Weapons Act 1999 in
the link below.

FASA and its appointed security\venue personnel will be carrying random checks during
game to ensure adherence to the FASA by-laws and constitution.

Thank you for your cooperation.
