To Whom It May Concern:

I have worked with Mrs. Jansen for five years. I have found her to be one of
the most loving, caring, and dedicated educators I know. Mrs. Jansen works
closely with classroom teachers to make sure that those students that are at
risk are successful in their present grade level and the grade level they will be
entering the next academic school year. I found that Mrs. Jansen will come to
you to find out what skills are being taught and build on what you are doing.

I remember one year when a student had been assigned to me was reading on
first grade level. Mrs. Jansen and I decided that she would work on phonics
and decoding skills and I would work on the comprehension. I don’t know
who was more excited when the results of the CRCT came in because the
student we had worked with passed the reading, math, and social studies
sections on the test. The skills and strategies had proven to be beneficial in
that child’s success in third grade.

Mrs. Jansen will prove to be an important additional to anyone’s staff because

of her diligence and hard work. She knows what to do and how to do it to help
the children that are at risk of failing.
