2011 Uxbridge Women’s Softball League

Welcome to another FUN year of women’s recreational softball! This is a slow pitch adult recreational softball
league for women 25 years and older that was started thirteen years ago and has been a hit ever since. Come
and join the fun!

SIGN UPS:
1. Fill out the form below. The registration fee is $15 (non-refundable).
2. Make checks payable to Uxbridge Women’s Softball League.
3. Mail the completed form and check to: Jackie O’Brien, 40 Giacamo Way, Uxbridge, MA 01569.
4. The deadline for sign ups is May 31st.
5. Sign ups are on a first come-first served basis.

OVERVIEW:
1. All games will be played at D’Alfonso Park (Hecla Fields) on Hecla Street.
2. All games are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 6:15 pm.
3. The 2011 season begins Tuesday, July 5th and ends Thursday, August 11th.
4. Your team Captain will let you know when the first game is scheduled. Game schedules will be given out
at the first game. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the game start time.
5. Players must supply their own glove. The League will supply helmets, bats, balls, bases, catcher’s
equipment and basic first aid. Players may bring their own bats if they prefer.

Note: Neither the Town of Uxbridge or the Uxbridge Women’s Softball League is responsible for injuries
to any participating players. Players must be at least 25 years old to play.
