CONCLUSIONS

In this project we had concluded that using of kiln process by direct reduction of

sponge iron as compared to electric arc furnace process is more advantageous.

1. Low investment cost

2. Less land area is required
3. Its requires less water
4. Less scrap is generated
5. Minimized truck traffic for scrap material handling
6. It is a beneficial process.
