Oporto is the second largest city in Portugal and is located near the Douro

River estuary.
This important northern capital is a great industrial hub allied to a commercial efficiency.

Porto is one of the oldest European city and was registered as a World Heritage Centre by
UNESCO, in December, 1996.
The Port Wine, one of ex-libris of Portugal, was produced by the northern people and exported
by the Rabelo boats from the wineries of Vila Nova de Gaia.
Among the architectural highlights of the city, Oporto Cathedral is the oldest surviving structure.

Porto is ranked number 3 in the Portuguese most livable cities survey of living conditions
published yearly by Expresso - Portuguese newspaper.
Rich from centuries of trade, modern Oporto is a cosmopolitan center and, at the same time, a
city full of historical events.
