Definition:
Simultaneous Operations is defined as the concurrent execution of two or more
activities at the same time and place, which due to their interaction result in
increased operational complexity and level of risk. Any possible combination of
the following activities is considered to potentially increase the risk when carried
out simultaneously:
• Production/Injection
• Maintenance
• Drilling
• Work-over (including use of coiled tubing).
• Well Testing
• Hot Work
• Heavy Lift
• Wire-line Operations
Based on above and taking into account the normally accepted level of safety
measures adopted by ADMA-OPCO, each individual activity is protected by one
or several barriers which would have to fail before control is lost.
