Where is the convergence taking place and how do we get there?

This year’s Youth Convergence is being hosted at the Horizons School

The Horizons School is also conveniently located within short walking distance of both the
Edgewood/Candler Park and East Lake MARTA stations.

How will my child be supervised?

-There will be at least 15 staff members at the convergence.
-Each minor will have a designated staff mentor who will regularly check up on
them during the weekend.

What will happen to my child if there is an emergency?

- A parent or guardian will be contacted immediately if there is any emergency
regarding their child.
- There will be CPR and first aid certified staff members at the convergence at all
times.
- If needed any attendee who is injured will be transported to the nearest hospital.

What are the lodging and sleeping arrangements for those who can’t commute?
- This year’s convergence lodging will be provided by attendees and staff
members living in Atlanta! We are asking that capable attendees provide lodging
for their fellow convergence members. Once we get a sense of how many can
host, all minors will be separated by gender and sleeping arrangements will be
highly structured. If you have any concerns, please contact us.

What are the food and eating arrangements?

- All meals will be cooked and prepared on premise by Be the Change staff. They will
be both delicious and nutritious!
- We will cater to any special dietary requirements.
