    To provide for the compensation of furloughed Federal

    1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-


    2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
    3 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    4 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Federal Employee Ret-


    5 roactive Pay Fairness Act’’.
    6 SEC. 2. COMPENSATION FOR FURLOUGHED FEDERAL EM-

    7 PLOYEES.

    8 Federal employees furloughed as a result of any lapse


    9 in appropriations which begins on or about April 9, 2011,
    10 shall be compensated at their standard rate of compensa-

    1 tion, for the period of such lapse in appropriations, as soon
    2 as practicable after such lapse in appropriations ends.
