0: Technology for Teaching Generations Y and Z

Stage 1: Desired Results:

Established Goals: Illustrate and explain how Web 2.0 can be useful for instructional purposes. Show
that one does not have to be an expert at Web 2.0 to be able to use it successfully, but the current
generation of students relate to technology and are more engaged when they are presented with it or
allowed to use it.

Understandings

Stage 2 – Assessment Evidence

o Participants will be put into pairs or small groups to discuss teaching scenarios using
Web 2.0 tools.

o Survey will be given to assess my performance and will also be used to determine what
participants learned.
