Dinner

We serve a variety of hot and cold items as well as our specialty Tempura. We are especially
proud of our Binchotan Grill. Binchotan charcoal is known as the king of white charcoals in Japan.
It differs from ordinary black charcoal in a variety of ways, not least by its silvery-white
appearance. In fact, if you strike it you will hear a metallic sound. It is made from a particular
type of oak from Wakayama prefecture and emits a powerful, near infrared radiation that heats the
inside of the food while sealing the outside to hold in the juices. It is famous throughout Japan for
bringing out the best flavor and is used by the finest restaurants. To our knowledge we are the
only Japanese restaurant between California and New York to have it.
