    -1Lesson Plan: Bears/ Art

    1. Title of Activity: Fur Painting

    2. Concepts: The child will use a variety of visual art forms for creative expression and
    representation.

    3. Objectives:
    1.The child will use a variety of art materials to complete a project.
    2.The child will make a design using materials of different textures.
    3.The child will show creativity by making unique art forms.
    4.The child will concentrate on and complete an art project.

    4. Early Learning Standards: CA 1.1, CA 1.2, CA 1.4, AL 2.1

    5. Instruction Materials: Paint, Paper, Fake Fur, Clothespins.

    6. Procedure:
    1. Cut several squares of 1” x 1“ fake fur.
    2. Attach clothespins to the back sides of the fur pieces to use as handles.
    3. Encourage the children to use the fur pieces as paintbrushes.
    4. Have the children make their creations while expressing how it looks.

    7. Miscellaneous: Also include different painting materials and not just the fur brushes.
    Also include fish stencils and bear stamps.
