of an existing person

by a computer network

limitations of an ordinary
robot

Hiroshi Ishiguro & his
team in Osaka University

 Copies of a living person
rather than resembling
 Shape adjustment & Skin
textures are based on MRI
scans and photograph
 Silicon skin
 50 actuators are used
 13 actuators are embedded
in the face
 15 actuators in the torso
 22 actuators used to move
the arm and legs
