BE PASSIONATE ABOUT YOUR WORK. (Man who chases two rabbits catches none.

1. Have an interest in the field.


2. Focus on one thing at a time. Once you have mastered it, move on to the next.
3. Know what is happening in your field.
4. Keep yourself updated on latest technology and products.
5. Subscribe to magazines and journals related to your field.
6. Read about system integration with your technology.
7. Spread knowledge.
8. Attend knowledge enhancing meetings.
9. Read anything and everything which might touch your field of expertise.
10. Read books, attend courses, workshops, and conferences, study white papers, government
reports and opposing opinions of experts in the field.
11. Join discussion groups, write articles about what you've learned, and post on blogs and
online forums where other experts in the field congregate.
12. Take one thing and get in-depth knowledge of it.
13. Do vendor comparison for everything you read.
14. Keep these separately.
15. Compare Seatel, Swedish, Cobham, Raysat and GD Satcom antennas.
16. Remain focused on your niche regardless of how many enticing ideas and opportunities
come your way.
17. If they go to every conference, go to every conference. If they read four books a month on
