I am here to present the Value weighted index of Tobbaco industry and its comparison with KSE 100

index. In Tobacco industry there are three companies listed as KSE and those are:

 Pakistan Tobacco Company(PAKT)

 Philip Morris(PMPK)
 Khyber Tobacco(KHTC)

First we have calculated the Value weighted index and then we have compared it with the rate of
change of KSE 100 index.

 In the first three quarters we observed that the tobacco industry was in harmony with the KSE-
100 index
 Then from October 2010 the rate of change of Tobacco Industry was greater than the KSE-100
index for almost 2 months.
 Then after that we observe a rise in the rate of change of KSE-100 index.
