Be remarkable and captivate your teachers

Boring subjects, new teachers...making the right impression has always

been important. That's why there are some informal rules and standards
that you should stick to.

Appearance
The first thing we assess when meet somebody is how they look. But have
you noticed that clothes and jewellery impact on your mood and behavior,
as well? Be careful, usually too smart and tight clothing make you feel
restricted and shy. It’s important to pick and choose something
comfortable. So just put your favourite jeans and be yourself!

Manner
Be confident and polite. Don’t interrupt in order to express your opinion. A
nice tip is to catch the appropriate moment and demonstrate your general
knowledge about the subject.

Behaviour
Do
 be natural. Even if you’re shy, a genuine smile will make a good
impression.
 drink coffee in the break in case you’re sleepy. Teachers hate yawning
faces in front of them.
 look at the teacher and follow every word they say. Write down some
keywords and expressions when necessary! It shows curiosity and also
provides better learning.
 speak clearly and be sure of your knowledge when answering a
question. If you don’t understand something, ask! You come across as
an ambitious person, passionate to succeed in the exams.
 be funny. Everybody loves amusing people in a good mood. Tell a joke
or any ridiculous story you come up with on the spur of the moment!
Don’t
 turn up late. You seem to be disorganised.
 show off or you will look arrogant and selfish in the others’ eyes.
 murmur and curse being unhappy about something.

If you follow these tips, you will make a fabulous first impression and
achieve great results at all your exams.
