STAND-UP FOR JAPAN:

JAPANESE AMERICAN COMICS COME TOGETHER AT THE LAUGH

FACTORY TO RAISE MONEY FOR THEIR HOMELAND
(Los Angeles, Calif.) – The Laugh Factory in Hollywood has organized “Stand-Up for Japan” a night of
comedy to benefit affected victims of the Japanese earthquake. The evening boasts a line-up of all-star
talent that wanted to donate their time including Paul Rodriguez, KT Tatara, Paul Ogata, Jackson
Perdue, Tommy Davidson, and Kevin Nealon who volunteered to host the show. Laugh Factory
owner Jamie Masada says that “Japan is like family to us as far as I’m concerned it’s like one of our
states and we have to help them.”

Masada emphasized that the benefit is mostly to raise awareness of needed victims. "All of the friends
and family of the Laugh Factory are ready to participate in the fundraising. We encourage everybody in
the U.S. who is driving a Japanese car to at least send $1 to Red Cross. We must put Charlie Sheen on
hold for bit, and focus on the real matters of life and death."
