The film is “informational” rather than “promotional.” It is presenting a font that is


widely used and the then discusses different view point of this font. Some people say
it is a good font, some say it is horrible.

- Who is the primary audience it aimed at?

The Primary audience is mainly people who are interested in design but not the
professional ones. It tells a lot about the story of Helvetica and the introduced a lot
of feelings generated from the particular font.

-What is the relevance of it to specific areas/topics of our course?


The topic is relevant to the choice of typography of our course. Different typography
gives different feeling to people. How to choose a good font for the design is crucial
to the success of the design.

•According to the film, how does type affects our lives?


Typography provokes emotions toward certain object. Helvetica is delightful but at
the same time peaceful, so governments like to use Helvetica. A different font on the
same sentence can result in different kind of feelings.
